For over half a century he has been successfully cultivating what at the beginning was only a passion, but over time, together with study and practice, has led him to considerable recognition.

Today he is a professional painter and his works, for over forty years, have been running the most important exhibitions, both in Italy and across the Alps.

Piero Lauria is a figurative expressionist painter and in fact, prevailing in his works are the female faces, which immediately strike for the bright colors and at the same time strong and deep. The canvases are painted in oil, acrylic and mixed techniques. The execution is decisive and the representation full of emotions.

Both the occasional observer and the more experienced observer are immediately fascinated by it.

Since 1981 his works have been exhibited in the most well-known galleries and appear in private and public collections.
